Abdominoplasty is a tummy tuck surgery that can be performed by people who have given birth and have sagging.  If the problem area is limited to the area under the belly, mini abdominoplasty, if it covers the entire abdomen, abdominoplasty, and if it is a large area that includes the waist, environmental abdominoplasty is performed.

How to perform Tummy Tuck Surgery

Tummy surgery is performed by using a cutaneous incision in the inguinal region, meaning at the lower abdomen. Think of it as a little longer than the C-section mark.  A second incision is made for the transfer of the navel bore around the navel.   Loosened abdominal wall muscles are stitched together to relieve abdominal sagginess.

Tummy tuck surgery may take approximately 2-5 hours, and sometimes 1-2 hours.

Can I get pregnant after tummy tuck surgery?

Abdominoplasty does not prevent you from getting pregnant or cause you problems during pregnancy. However, after giving birth, your stomach may sag a little again.

When can I have an abdominal tuck surgery after the birth?

For newly moms, tummy tuck surgery is recommended for the end of the first year. In this process, the mother loses the weight she wants to lose, and the sagging level becomes fully visible.

How much would the scars of the surgery bother me?

As mentioned above, your tummy tuck surgery scar can easily be hidden inside your underwear just like a C-section scar. This scar will be a thin pink line at first and will gradually turn white. However, you can make the scar on your stomach stretching surgery less obvious by using the scar preventing creams and silicone tapes recommended by our doctor.

Can tummy tuck and liposuction surgeries be combined?

With the latest techniques, surgery is much more simplified, which allows us to remove as much fat as you want. But a preliminary meeting with our doctor would be much healthier.

For how many days should patients coming from their native country stay?

Patients visiting Antalya from abroad for Tummy Tuck surgery must stay for at least 7 days. They will not be granted permission for flights before this date.

Patients should be in Antalya 2 days before the Tummy Tuck procedure day.
